Iran, a country i would like to visit

A country that i would love to visit is Iran, it's an exotic destination and guardian of an ancient culture.

Although it has very rigid laws, backed by one of the strictest facets of Islam, it's a very safe country and its societies are one of the most hospitable on the planet.

Isfahan, the ancient capital

A must see is the city of Isfahan in the center of the country. It was one of the most important cities in the world during the seventeenth century, in political, economic, demographic and cultural terms, and the architectural heritage is a reflection of the greatness of bygone times. The city is full of palaces, mosques and historic neighborhoods, and in fact Naqsh-e Jahan Square was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1979.

There are many fantastic places to visit in the Persian country, such as the gardens and palaces of the city of Shiraz in the south, or the ruins of the ancient city of Persepolis. If you like modern cities, you can visit Tehran, the capital, or if you prefer a more natural destination, the temperate rainforests on the shores of the Caspian Sea in the north of the country are an ideal place.

Shiraz.

Persepolis.

Tehran.

Temperate rainforests in Gilan Provence.
